Interesting post :) If someone wants to get inspiration from biology to reach the objectives you mention on social contracts, what example would you give? I mean, what can we learn from the long-term evolution of species to create sustainable social contracts among humans?
There's an article written by a friend/colleague, John Clippinger, where he talks about designing a legal entity structure that is "of nature" (i.e., that incorporates metabolic and biologic principles into the design of the operating arrangements of the legal entity).
